This will have a massive impact on the lovely place we live... More traffic as even more people will cut through Colton. Congestion will be a nightmare. However most importantly it will spoil lovely temple newsam and its views!

the area is already been brought down by all the charity shops and coffee shops in Crossgates why bring it down anymore. the site will cause more problems than its worth and i oppose the plans.

One of the reasons why I have lived in the area and never wanted to move is because of the Green Belt area that we are lucky to have. Please do not ruin it by over building in the area and spoiling the few areas where we can go for our daily walks. Would like my children and grandchildren to enjoy the green belt we have.

I lived in the old colton as a child. Still live in the area. Traffic is already too busy for area... wats nxt....

disgraceful to even consider this Gypsy Site, the council should remember how much money people have to spend buy houses in this area and the council tax they pay on their property

I own the windmill at Colton and we are trying to sell it but if the traveller site goes ahead my windmill will be worth nothing, it is a landmark and will be devalued to literally nothing as with all the housing in Colton, people will not want to move near to a traveller. Site. The current primary school is full so unless another school is built there will be a massive lack of school places for everyone. Whoever on the council came up with these 2 stupidly ridiculous proposals needs urgent mental assessment, bet they don't live in Colton.

There are already not enough facilities for the local residents. I would be particularly concerned about the impact on the local schools when places are already in high demand!
