This against all hard working people & the infrastructure is not capable of coping with this.

Yet another scheme with total disregard for the lives of tax paying residents. Like others it will be unsustainable - but that won't concern those in the city council whose lifestyles we are paying for.

Green belt needs to be preserved for future generations. This area cannot cope with increased traffic and the extra strain on local services

Colton doesn't have the capacity to accommodate the extra housing and I feel the gypsy site would have a negative impact on house prices

I strongly object to the proposed plans. The roads cannot possibly take the extra volume of traffic - & what about the schools - can they take in anymore children? If passed this will definitely have a big effect on house prices! It is a lovely area of Leeds which is going to be spoilt

There has to be a more suitable area than right opposite Temple Newsam Park. Our schools are full & don't even try to get a doctors appointment!

It's important that we use the land we have more efficiently, instead of destroying the greenery we still have. We have plenty of houses around Leeds that have NO occupants. If travellers refuse to settle, we need to refuse their attempts to occupy our land with their caravans.

Houses are fine, Traveller site at the side of a exclusive housing estate - No Thanks

This is ridiculous and very ill conceived. We already have issues with traffic using the road through Colton as a rat run, hence the 20mph speed limit. Colton cannot sustain more housing, traffic and as for the proposed traveller site that's a huge no for me. How much will my house lose in value if that gets the go ahead?

The aream cannot take such a massive increase in housing. This is Green belt land with lots of wild life eg deer, pheasants. There is already congestion. What about schools GPs etc can they cope with this increase, I dont think so. I oppose any plans to expand Colton.

This sounds poorly thought out. Congestion is a big problem already and will be further compounded by building here. Encroaches on a popular beauty spot (Temple Newsam). The green belt should be saved
