Everybody works hard to live in Colton and enjoy the beautiful landscape that comes with it. It wouldn't be fair to put travellers in this area as they wouldn't respect the land, due to the mess they make. Shame on whoever is planning on doing such disruption.

I am completly against the building of a travellers site. People in Crossgates only know too well the problems that have been caused by a small number of travellers in and around crossgates recently. I agree with the statments in this petition that under no circumstances should this site be built.

Houses yes, but under no circumstance should this park land be decimated by scrap metal merchants who will dump tyres, conifers and general rubbish.
