You also have to think how many of you voted our labour council in that are now complaining about there plans?

The new houses are a great idea for colton we already have problems with vandalism, teenagers hanging around at least with new houses we would be making good use of the land. What's wrong with walking your dogs around the beautiful Templenewsam estate? The gypsy camp would be better at seacroft near the waste site. People always complain about new houses as they did in the 80's when colton was extended. People always say not on my door step but they needed to be built somewhere. It's good for local businesses too.

Please don't sell off Green Belt land for housing, We don't have enough in the first place. There are plenty of empty industrial sites that can be used.

Please don't allow this to happen. Beautiful new expensive houses have been built in this area making Cross Gates a nicer place to live. Having people living on a site close by that don't pay taxes, work or have any right to live in beautiful countryside would be disgusting. Travellers are notorious for lowering the house prices. I walk my dogs nearby but would have to stop due to fear of being threatened by travellers who use dogs for bait. It will have a dramatic negative effect on this area and I strongly disagree with this proposal.

Hell no. They want to be travellers so let them travel. If not they can rent/buy a house like everyone else and pay their taxes

Why cheapen such a nice area in Leeds, where people have worked hard to buy houses and make a life? House prices will fall and crime rates will increase. Schools will be effected due to traveller children attending them. No one in living in Colton wants this. Surely it is their say, they have made the area what it is.

Traffic is already a nightmare around bullerthorpe lane and selby road this will add further problems. Not to mention gypsy site, crime increases when they camp illegally what will it be like with a permanent site. This is one of the remaining nice areas to live in leeds why bring it down!!

It already takes over a week to get a Dr's appointment. How long will it take if the planning application is successful.

Not a well thought out plan for many different reasons!!!
This surrounding areas of east bleeds gave had large developments of housing! A64 up to Thorner! Crossgates barnbow region, Thorpe park large development!!! What I fracture has been put in place regarding GP's School places !!!!!! As for Colton and surrounding green belt which the public use for recreational use walking , running cycling and horse ryding!!!!! And to walk around Templenewsam grounds!!! The village is already having problems trying to exit Colton onto the surrounding dual carriageway often having 20 cars or more waiting to get out at the roundabouts!!!!! As for travellers you will be inviting trouble as inevitable increasing numbers will take advantage to the free belt area!!!!

This is an outrage. The doctors are on their knees with the new houses recently built at the top of bullerthorpe lane. Gypsy site near the local community will bring down the area and crime rates will rise. This has been proven in other areas. The country side is diminishing around colton its a disgrace. Put gypsys down cross green industrial estate away from local housing. Why do gypsys need a site I thought they like to travel!

I strongly object to any more houses and traveller site in Colton - the traffic is already bad and have the council taken account what it will cost them by covering the reduction in house prices in the area by building a traveller site

Colton cannot cope with the added houses on our already chaotic road infrastructure.

I am opposed to the proposed development in such a lovely country environment. This can only lead to a deterioration in a quiet residential beautiful area. This would mean further disruption with traffic including safety for Colton Primary School and I am very much against this idea going any further

Already had one death on colton road east due to traffic, this resulted in speed bumps every 5 meters which is ridiculous . We don't need anymore houses & definitely not any Gypos. House values will plummet and it can NOT be allowed to happen.

80 000 000 people in the UK
Average number of children per White British couple 1.3 . Way below replacement levels .
we are paying for our own demise and replacement .
The country does not need new homes to be built it needs to begin to repatriate post ww2 immigrants and their families.

It is an absolute disgrace that this area, which can barely cope with present demands upon its infrastructure, should be faced with these proposals. To use up yet more greenfield land, and so close to a Scheduled Ancient Monument too, demonstrates a complete lack of sensitivity and even common sense on the part of LCC. There are major ecological concerns that should not be neglected also. LCC must be made to reconsider, using every legal means at our disposal.
