I'm a live and let live person but when gypsies come to an area they usually don't respect their neighbours or property. Wish it wasn't like that but it is.

I work in the Colton area, this is a lovely part of Leeds. Colton is a small village and will not have the facilities to cope with such an influx of people.

I think it is a real worry that a traveller site is proposed in such a location. It will radically change the character of Colton.

I'm concerned that the local primary school is already over-subscribed, and this will add extra pressure on the local facilities

I have concerns about provisions for schooling, as I believe the local primary school is already over subscribed.

NO to the gypsy site at Colton. They will litter the beautiful countryside with litter and rubbish and I can't believe the council wouldn't extend the site in the future if they manage to force it through. It's outrageous. Absolutely disgustedthey are intending to put it in such a beautiful area and neighbourhood.

No consideration for the area or wildlife!!! Glad the country is looking after the tax payers!

I am concerned about the loss of green belt land and increased congestion in the area

bleeding ridiculous, green belt land and building on it, especially with a traveler site! Hard working people have bought houses which will de-value if this goes ahead! Also a traveler site built by tax payers money which they get for free! And as for the 165 houses talk, good look selling those on, or are they being built for the travellers too!! What do travellers bring to the economy, think about that!!

Colton already has a problem with traffic congestion 165 more houses would create horrendous difficulties

Concerns on how the present area can cope with increased congestion on roads. GP practices and schools over subscribed already this will only increase problems we already have. Also concerns over house prices in the area should Gypsy site go ahead.
