I object to the Travelers Site and the potential of increasing houses. Due to lack of infrastructure, also the increase of traffic to already congested roads in Colton area. Also the current Health Center such as Dentist and Doctors, which are already full. Including education, such as Local Schools.

The traffic in and around Colton is unacceptable as it is. The extra pressure of another 165 houses is outrageous! The road congestion is only part of the problem. Can the education and health services cope with increased numbers? I doubt they could.

I object to more houses being built in colton due to lack of infrastructure, volume of traffic, lack of places in the schools, doctors, dentist in colton and the local areas. Use of green belt land.

This is not about discrimination but I cannot understand the rationale for damaging our greenbelt and the beautiful historical and cultural site around Temple Newsam by allowing travellers to camp. You are also planning to build even more houses. Both new builds will add to the congestion in Colton which is already at gridlock so how can we allow more transport problems. Residents now have to add extra journey time. We don't have anywhere for our young people to go so instead off building a community group you are adding to this problem. You will isolate this area and it is not fair on Colton people who it seems to me work hard for everything they own. Traffic is already heavy and this will create more traffic, also I object to a traveller site as from experience they only bring trouble and will have an impact on house prices and will make it harder to sell property in this area. I object to both these plans as I didn't buy a home to struggle with traffic and live near travellers.

The traffic infrastructure just will not be able to handle the extra traffic. The local medical services are already stretched. The noise pollution from the retail site is already effecting residents and will only get worse.

This is a very bad idea which i object too. The traffic now is very heavy indeed and the speed bumps seem too work with the residents can i ask if anyone as looked at the volume of traffic that uses the colton and surrounding area ?

I strongly object to the proposals of building 165 new homes in Colton. The primary school is already stretched with pupils and appeals are having to be submitted every year so that pupils are able to go to their LOCAL high school,Templemoor or Garforth. More TRAFFIC will be a problem around the retail unit bringing more QUEUES and frustrated drivers. Not to say the medical centre MORE PATIENTS.
We need TO KEEP our precious Green Belt Land that now is a much loved home for horses, sheep and wildlife and a relaxing pleasure to view for all of us who live at Colton and especially those who have bought houses overlooking this space.

I object very strongly to the proposals to build 165 new homes in Colton. This is green belt land AND the local road infrastucture cannot take another 300 - 400 vechicles per day.

This proposed building will only add to the congestion that is already a daily occurrence. Traffic from the motorway causes bottle necks every morning and evening and the public transport system can not cope at present further building would make this area unproductive and not a place outside investors would support. So the trip George Osborne and members of Leeds City Council made recently would be redundant. Lets communicate and try joined up thinking this proposed building would be a disaster for the environment and the infrastructure of Leeds.

There is absolutely no need to develop on green field land and place more strain on struggling infrastructure. Leeds council are surrendering to house builders. There is plenty of brown field land and existing houses in Leeds to redevelop.
