Well because children get into trouble everyday about school dress code violations. It's time consuming a lot of the time by teachers having to have the kid sent down to the front office. It saves money for parents buying school clothes and nobody can be made fun of by not have the newest of the new. It takes the bullying as well.

I have a daughter in jr high and elementary school. My oldest expressed that others wore stuff and didn't get in trouble while I was called to a half inch too short. I've seen with my own eyes how some girls dress and not suffer the repercussions my daughters did. It's time to take a stand for the children and make changes so that every child is treated fairly and the only way to do that is uniforms. Not every parent has the money to go to the malls amd buy the trendiest clothes and get looked down on
