Preserve the Diginity of the Divinity School Campus

This is a Rochester landmark and one of the most beautiful properties I've ever seen. It should be preserved exactly as is forever.

I’m opposed to this development plan- it’s way too many people for the space. Some development is fine, but this plan is terrible for the area.

Please do this thoughtfully. As a former Rochesterian I am appalled by the plan.

This development plan does not work well with the site or the neighborhood. Please vote no!

The proposed high-rise apartment complex is an atrocity: banal, bleak, and totally out of harmony with this site.

Vote "NO" on the current plan which threatens both the geological and aesthetic stability on the northern facing ( city ) side of the campus. They can do better on the southern ( Brighton ) side.

This sort of development is going to destroy this wonderful neighborhood. There has to be a better way! Let's find it!

VOTE NO preserve our lovely piece of land - commercial development needs to be responsible and fit with the surroundings. This plan does neither.

I hope that any all City Council members actually visit the site before voting and get a view from Highland Parkway as well to have a better idea of what is going on bere.

We are not opposed to development although 5 story Apartment BuildingS do not FIT. Plus the developer plans to remove 50% of historical trees. The CIty has IGNORED all residents concerns which is very disappointing.

This has massive negative impacts on the glacial moraine.

another condo/hotel/ whatever is not needed! However, preserving a piece of history especially given the proximity to the incredible park is a major priority! Hopeful greed does not overcome! Remember the disastrous inner loop!!!

The Colgate site is unlike any other in this city. It should NOT be re-zoned a Planned Development District which by design favors developers. The entire site should be preserved for its historical, architectural and geological significance and its designation as an environmentally sensitive area. Carving up this site into separate parcels will further jeopardize any efforts to preserve it. I urge the City Council to vote NO on this development and work with the neighbors on finding the right fit for the Colgate site. This is not a mall/commercial development and it needs a more careful, in-depth review.

No more development is needed for more apartments in this space. Every square inch of open property is being taken over by ugly “luxury apartments”

This plan does not feel like any thought has gone into it and that it will in no way reflect it's immediate surroundings. Please do not allow the current plan to pass.

This is so disappointing. To have such a gorgeous property, with character and history, be so unappreciated is heartbreaking. There are plenty of other areas of Rochester that could be improved by such a development.

The City needs to restructure the CPC and other review boards so that it can sit around a table with a half-dozen informed neighborhood representatives & stakeholders and the property owner, to hash out design expectations & hopefully a better design for the developer, rather than continue to take the adversarial role with neighbors of apparent/seeming exclusion. Maybe the developer can meet those expectations, and maybe they are unwilling and it is time for a another developer to come in and make a different proposal. The draft 2034 plan talks of including neighborhoods in decision making. Make it come to fruition rather than collecting dots and random comments/complaints that don't propose viable solutions to the problem.

In the spirit of “love thy neighbor,” please consider preserving the properties and privacy of the school’s neighbors.
