The days are long and the silence from the state is heavy but I am not walking away from this fight. I spend my nights reading the messages you leave here and they confirm that we are right to demand more than what has been offered. We will keep pushing until the system is forced to account for the life that was stolen.

Total BS. Should be life for murder. Unbelievable.
Truly evil. How can anyone justify such a short sentence for killing an innocent person? So sorry for your loss.
What a joke. He deserves life without parole. Justice was definitely NOT served here.

12 years for taking a life is a slap in the face. My heart goes out to the family. Hope they keep him locked up for good.
