Chochrane is not not expected to be responsible for good behavior but to strive for permanent scientific doubtfulness and transparency of its decisions. Peter Gøtzsche has shaped the image of Cochrane in a very positive way.

Cochrane should become a collaboration again. While leadership is required the collaboration lives through its members, through diversity and open exchange of opinions.

Sir Iain Chalmers founded the Cochrane Collaboration and then left after it's principles & values were changed by other members. Deja vu

I fully support there four crucial demandmendts. The way Cochrane Scientific Commitee has conducted their inquiry about the validitet of sequential meta-analysis as well as their firm recommendations against using it is outrageous.

Board elections are meaningless without the current board members willing to resign and stand for re-election. Currently they may not have a mandate. Too much damage has been caused to Cochrane.

Not a member of Cochrane. A supporter of evidence based medicine. Deeply concerned about the way the issue was handled. More like a company with something to hide than an academic network committed to transparency.

I am highly indignant at the events, specially concerning Mr Gøtzsche.
The only hope that rests are the other members - they need more transparency, indeed!

It is not tolearable that chochrane suspends members because of different opinions... I am shocked
I endorse these points of improvement.
