Thank you for this initiative. As a Cochrane author, current events have worried me too. I would like to add an additional concern: create Cochrane reviews free of conflicts of interest.

I fully support the proposals. Transparency, focused actions, unity and good economy create an entrustable basis for a scientific organisation.

I fully support this initiative. Even the slightest deviation from a transparent governance makes "trusted evidence" into pretty empty words.

I’m a Cochrane review author and member of Cochrane Public Health. What concerns me most about the recent developments is the lack of transparency, and the unwillingness (or inability) of the remaining members of the Cochrane Governing Board to explain the reasons for their decision to expel Peter Gotzsche (“bad behaviour” and “damage to Cochrane” does not count as meaningful explanation). This opaqueness around such an imporant, and controversial decision is totally inacceptable, not matter how justified the decision might have been.

I am a member of Cochrane hypertension group. I agree on the four points of development. Different opinions are necessary, always shown with respect. It should be clear what zero tolerance means
