This increase will be ridiculous, Higher education is hardly hard for most families to afford and to increase tuition would only cripple those already struggling and completely discourage the dreams of those who would like to attend college

individuals are already having a hard time paying their tuition and in addution value added taxes have been implemented, makibg it even more difficult. Please do not add to the stress. our Bahamian people need the tertiary education to survive in this increasingly competitive economy.

i feel that this increase is very unfair tp us students because they just implemented VAT and now they want us to try find more money that we dont have to pay them. There are alot of students that are struggling to pay they tuition now and to add this increase is going to kill us all. Thats just the course fee that does not include book/s for the course materials etc this is outrageoussss and unfair

How do you curve crime, aged work force, unemployment, lack of technical skills, use less foreign workers? Easy, increase tuition on the tertiary level clearly the young men in our society were not discouraged enough to complete high school and seek tertiary education. My bad I forgot these people are brilliant and negative and negative makes positive. YES!!! clearly this is their mind set my bad continue to multiply the negatives in an unstable economy eventually the positive will present itself

I am against this fee increase, I find it hard myself right now having to balance two jobs and my academic studies just for a better living . It's already rough as it is !

Good evening , I am Wentworth Donaldson and the incoming Deputy Division Vice President of the Norther Bahamas Campus of COB. Recently Vat has been placed on our fees and now the school is being raised. I also understand that a selective set of classes are not being offered in the summer. I guess it's probably because not many students registered for the classes;although, there are students who are being held back cause of this and can't graduate at the pre-planned times. If funds are raised, this dilemma will continue to happen because student enrollment numbers will drop tremendously. I see many students who do not have the privilege to be granted a scholarship and are struggling to pay the current fees. Again, if fees are raised , student enrollment numbers will drop tremendously !
