Good evening , I am Wentworth Donaldson and the incoming Deputy Division Vice President of the Norther Bahamas Campus of COB. Recently Vat has been placed on our fees and now the school is being raised. I also understand that a selective set of classes are not being offered in the summer. I guess it's probably because not many students registered for the classes;although, there are students who are being held back cause of this and can't graduate at the pre-planned times. If funds are raised, this dilemma will continue to happen because student enrollment numbers will drop tremendously. I see many students who do not have the privilege to be granted a scholarship and are struggling to pay the current fees. Again, if fees are raised , student enrollment numbers will drop tremendously !

We donot need a fee increase especially since VAT has just been introduced. If fees are going to be raised anyway we should be given ample notice like a year.

This is just crazy of COB to think that they are going to increase tuition and there is not a increase in the services or education that we as students will be getting.

I'm against the raise in tuitions. COB just raised our fees in 2014 the first time in a long time. I was okay with that, seeing as they were supposed to use the money to better our environment, making it possible for us to be more comfortable. I have seen no such change. Now with the implementing of VAT's 7.5% tax I don't know how we'll be able to afford the cost of education. I want to see transparency in COB's costly budget, I'd like to know where my money is and HAS been going

This is absolutely ridiculous and unreasonable for the students of C.O.B.
