As an education major, mother and Bahamian I am gravely concerned for the integrity of one our most precious resources, Education. Should this most important cornerstone, which is so intricately linked to the success of our country, continue to be attacked mayhem will ensue. Raising tuition makes higher education unavailable to the masses and facilitates ignorance. With ignorance comes its many sister vices, poverty, despair, hopelessness, unemployment, crime, etc. Let's fight to keep higher education within the reach of all and protect the integrity of our country's success!

It's already hard trying to pursue a career in the Bahamas, now you want to make it even harder for us to obtain a degree? I'm against it.

Most students of the College pay their school fees out of pocket. How can you want future leaders if the cost of us obtaining a higher learning is preposterous.

Offer more and better classes if you wish to raise tuition. Be fair to the professors and the students. A lot of ground work and administrative issues need to be revamped and improved before seeking to raise tuition.
