My teenage son is graduating highschool in three years. I won't be able to afford for him to follow in my footsteps at this institution if these increases continue.

Delay the increase fees for an entire semester and take the time to properly educate us by having forums for that entire semester.

I'm honestly tired of the increase, just trying to finish college! and at this rate they are making it even more difficult!

I understand that there is a serious need for funds within the institution its just that I'd appreciate being able to see where the money is being spent. We don't need a "politician" running COB and determining how the cash flows through it either. Accountability is seemingly a key issue as everyone will just point upwards which, eventually, ends with " da govment dem". So sorry this is the way its heading, especially with little investor activities. Hopefully the new president will find a much more suitable situation in the time to come

I understand that the school needs more money, but the tuition costs have increased too dramatically at such short notice. Tuition fees usually go up in colleges and universities and I expect the fee to increase as COB transitions to a university, but it should be something where people are slowly introduced to the change. Perhaps there are other ways to raise funds?

This is outrageous how they are adding more on to school fees, some students including myself are already having a hard times paying our bills then we still have to find money for books.

The greatest asset of any tertiary institution is it's students. Sadly, those in charge of COB seem like they do not care about what is in the students' best interest. As students, we should show those in charge how serious we are about fighting against the increase in tuition fees. Therefore, I fully support this petition. If COB still decides to increase fees, something must be done about the institution's conditions.
