This is uttee foolishness. How is the country suppose to be better if education is at a higher cost. I understand that university status may be costly but there is a way to go about things

If tuition increases then there will be an increase in the drop out rate of students. How are the youths suppose to help develop the country if they are not properly educated. VAT has already been a major strain for us as students especially those who have to work to pay their own school fee. I

Where to begin? All I will say is this: I am proud to have a state college, "soon to be" the University of the Bahamas. Unfortunately, changes must be made before imposing increased tuition and fee charges on students. Be fair with us, and we shouldn't have major problems moving forward.
