This certainly needs to be subject to public consultation, probable review and scrapping. Certainly something needs to be done with the pier, but in keeping with the history of the town.

This should be preserved for the town and people of Cobh, and to keep the memories of those who's last steps on dry land was here. These memories should never be used for profit.

As a Cobh native I think it's an absurd idea and an even worse design. It's totally profit driven and not in keeping with Cobh heritage
