I hope our objections are taken seriously as our beautiful town must not be destroyed .

As far as I know, the pier is privately owned. The owner should ensure that it is repaired and preserved and any structure that Titanic Experience wants to put there should be done very carefully and tastefully and any plans should be agreed by everyone. The promenade belongs to Cobh and not any profit-making entity.

The pier should be repaired and preserved, and the promenade not altered or used for profit.

Part of Ireland's maritime heritage, should be restored to original standard and owned by the people, not used by private individuals for profit.

shocking, if there's money to be used on the pier use it to restore it.

I have longed for something to be done to Heartbreak Pier, but design is not the answer, it’s an eyesore.

The pier now looks much more appealing than what has been submitted. Lack of imagination strikes again!!

The tower element is to be 6 storeys high on the shore front with a section of the townpark to be given away to privatisation - this is bonkers

An absolute disgrace - everything for profit. A poor design too.

Yet another attempt by the few to own Irelands heritage and make money by gabbing and branding something they know little about and care for less

The proposed structure is an absolute eyesore! Why not preserve it and put some lighting on it at night which would cost less, look better and be in keeping with traditional look of Cobh itself.

Why not just restore the pier and leave it at that?do we really need the ridiculous sails, platform and turnstile...It's supposed to be a historically significant site not a circus.
Please leave this beautiful place as it is.
