Coach Felling was the King of Basketball in Lawrenceville, Il. He was my twin brother's basketball coach and close friend of my father, Dr. Bob. Hometown basketball games during the years that Ron Felling coached are exhilarating memories now and the pride for the championship teams lives on. It's time to commemorate the man and the Lawrenceville basketball championship records by naming the gym after Coach Ron Felling.

Even if he weren't my father, I would support the naming of the gym after him. There has not been a better coach to represent this high school or any other school in IL.

As much as Ron Felling has done for Lawrenceville Basketball, I think his name would be fitting for the Lawrenceville High School Gym.
