It's the only choice possible. The revenue raised through ticket sales, local restaurants & Lawrenceville Indians clothing is more than enough reason to name it after Felling. We had a spirit back then that was second to none ! The entire town prospered because of Lawrenceville basketball. Hopefully the decion will be overturned. It's the least the people of Lawrenceville & surrounding areas could do for all he has given us !

Ron is very deserving! He was a great great high school coach and great assistant while at IU. He's a better man and great person as well.

My first years out of college I lived in Lawrenceville and watched coach Fellings teams. He truly put Lawrenceville on the map!

Seems to be a no brainer! Just do it! I guess the only reason someone would vote against such a great honor would be jealousy, so I hope it gets accomplished.

Ron Felling deserves the honor of the Gym bearing his name. It is a small thing for the man who gave so much for the youth of this community.

Ron Felling put Lawrenceville, IL on the map with four IHSA state basketball championships and a third place finish in 16 years as head coach at LHS. He taught the importance of fundamental preparation, attention to detail, and hard work in athletics and in life. I know of no better tribute to Ron and Lawrenceville than to have the new gym floor named after him.
