JUST ANOTHER CLOSET WS CONCEALING HIS IDENTITY.
What kind of professional acts as a gatekeeper that restricts access for Blacks and a Syrian immigrant seeking to further their education beyond high school? I have learned from former athletes attending Brooklyn Tech about how this person concealed scholarship offers to major colleges and universities and denied essential athletic equipment to the football team for his own selfish purposes. It is unconscionable to see how he sullies the work of Dr. Martin Luther King to further his tenure with Hunter college.
When I attended Brooklyn Tech, he did everything to restrict my progress. Who knows what I would have achieved without his interference? Why did he ask my former teammates what I was doing following my departure from Tech? Was this some form of harassment after wasting my time in delivering him championships and records?
Perhaps he didn’t know what he was doing although he preceded the steps of Steve Mnuchin. Did he think that his actions would harm me indefinitely? This happened to slaves on the plantation before and after civil rights.

Ed Zarowin was my coach at Brooklyn Tech and he was a great coach and totally created a Track dynasty from a team that has a previously mediocre reputation. A consummate professional and an inspiration to the team

50 YEARS OF MIND CONTROL
Once upon a time during my senior year, a coach from Brooklyn Tech told me that if I changed my attitude he would show me my scholarship papers to an Ivy League school. My first thought was who does this "!$&@!" think he is? In speaking with my fellow teammates, I knew that if I were to run a break-out time, the coach would be able to acquire a cozy position with an elite institution. As far as I was concerned, I had already done so, but was denied those times that were given to graduating seniors during my sophomore and junior years. Perhaps the coach felt that he was creating some aberration of "Willie Lynch." He most certainly had the wrong free-teenager. It didn't happen then, and it won't happen now or in the future.
If he is a legend and wants to continue whatever he is suppose to be doing, then he should move from Division III to Division I without the assistance of one of his friends. He should also take a basic computer course so that he doesn't receive a new negative-performance-evaluation, and he should stop filing straw-man arguments. Lastly, he should review LBJ's commencement address at Howard University so that he understands what it means to be African American. Perhaps Hunter College should hire Donald T. Sterling or Jerry Sandusky.

Mr. Z is one of the best people I have ever known in my life. I ran under him over 40 years ago and yet, I have kept in contact with and his integrity and spirit remains a continuing influence in my life.

I worked for coach Z as an assistant for a couple of years. I have never met a more knowledgeable or dedicated track and field man.

My 2 years (1971 and 1972) under coach Z has influenced my life everyday. There is not a day that goes by that some will I have to summon goes back to him. He also helped me out when I was being subjected to anti religious taunts from other students.

He was my track coach at Brooklyn Tech 1966 to 1968 and he was a great coach. He left a great impression on me with many valuable lessons of discipline and improving one self which carries with me till this day! Love him!
