We the undersigned respectfully request that COAC do a major overhaul of the clay courts that have become almost unplayable. They’ve become too compacted and the surface clay has become like sawdust on a dance floor - we are concerned about injuries.
We’ve learned from others that a more frequent deep raking of the clay is important to its play-ability and the effectiveness of moisture flow. We are not experts but clearly the courts are in steady decline. Please invest what is necessary to return them to their former, more playable state. Thank you,

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by how many people feel the same way about our courts. This momentum belongs entirely to you and your willingness to speak up about the conditions we all face.

Hi thank you for all you do to maintain our club! I play tennis at the club and try to avoid clay because I slip and the fast stops hurt my knees and Achilles. Due to summer camps being held at the club, we are forced to reserve clay courts if we want to play prior to the camps ending. It’s been a concern particularly for the elderly ladies who play at the club five days a week and are forced to play on clay. When I play with them they almost always slip and slide and I’m like
Currently the courts are quite dangerous. As the undersurface is quite compacted, the top layer is like marbles on the floor.
The clay courts are unsafe to play on. Please fix them before someone gets seriously injured.
I would like to play on high-quality maintained courts. Please upgrade.
Too slippery sand on top of hard surface.
I agree with the comments about the need for the clay courts need to upgraded and maintained.

These courts are much appreciated at COAC, easier on the body for we older individuals. We look forward to your taking better care of them so they are safer and better to play on.
