Please do not sell Hofman Forest as it provides revenue from timber production but is a teaching tool for research.

This resource can not be duplicated in todays world! Any effort(s) to take such a valuable resource from the people of North Carolina and the United States needs to cease immediately.

Just moved here from CA. This state is blessed to have the roadside dotted with green forests. Don't throw away this treasure- I'd hate to see this state turn into strip malls!

This natural resource belongs to 'Our State.' We have a responsibility to protect and preserve the very resources that add value to our existence. This is more important than profit! Urban sprawl must be managed to protect the environment that we all depend upon. Even if it takes funds to ensure preservation. Some things are worth more than money!!

I am very concerned about the environmental impact of the proposed sale, including any habitat for the threatened Red-cockaded Woodpecker

What NC Cooperative Extension and NC State University have done through their recent divestment frenzy is offensive, reckless and irresponsible and does not reflect the long-sighted vision the public should expect from our public institutions and professional stewards.

Whst I'd going on with out state park system in north carolina? The appointed "stewards" appear to not be doing a proper job at saving out state forests. Please do not allow this reassure to become private property.
