Once it is gone, it is gone...please don't sell the forest!!!

Mama Nature will ultimately win in the end so I'm on her side.

Keep the land in tact, no cutting down any trees, forestry or anything!

To keep a place like this the way god made it, is worth much more than money.

Save our forest!

Land Grant Universities shouldn't be selling their land. Especially land so valuable for the research and teaching needs in the critical environmental studies areas such as forestry and land management.

Stand for our Land, Stand for Love, Within to Without! :) Mindlessly deforesting our neighboring wildlife is destroying our ecosystem, killing future generations of wildlife, now going extinct. We are co-existent. ~ Lately, it has come to mind, driving past carcasses of our animal family, next to streets littered with houses for sale, vacancies everywhere, next to land for sale signs, next to deforestization advertising land for business to expand for more strip malls and business, . What do you think is happening to the millions of displaced wildlife and insects, necessary for the balance of our eco-system, or the systematic mining of the earths necessary minerals, crystals, and gemstones, our necessary grid of frequencies, allowing us our equilibrium? Has critical thinking completely ceased amongst the people? Allowing ourselves, our children to normalize digitalizing life, deadening our vital life force connection with Mother Earth. She needs our laughter, our care, our Love. She is in all, as these vessels are nothing more than perceptions, separating Love from each=other, as ourselves. My heart hurts seeing the carelessness of our people, allowing this, while carelessly applying toxins to our shared environment. A lifestyle built on profit is killing all our generations with the continued onslaught of this blind mentality. Every once in awhile, I see circulate this photo and article about a community who built a natural bride, over our roadways, once separating a necessary process of migration for the circle of life to maintain for future generations of all our family. I feel it is imperative that we as a community allow consciousness to guide our relationship with our entire environment once again. :)

The Hofmann should not be sold and left under the management of the College of Natural Resources.

We need to build up, not out. We have a responsibility to take care of our environment and wildlife.

Undeveloped land is priceless.

Let's preserve this land for our children and future generations to enjoy as we have. How much is our environment really worth?

You can't complain about bear populations being too high and bothersome to neighborhoods if your destroying there natural habitat deforestation has got to stop

I grew up in Jacksonville, and I always admired the Hoffman Forest. I remember reading about it at the library in any book that would say anything about it. It's really a shame that our state has grown into such a for-profit laughingstock that they are attempting to destroy something that so many people find important. We don't need more farms. Save Hoffman Forest!

NCSU has lost too much already.

Do not sell this land. It isn't an asset to sell. It's a resource to be used for education, research and wildlife and ecosystem preservation. Please, for once, see land ownership as the stewardship it is. As a university stop thinking like a profit-driven corporation making short-term financial gains for investors and instead consider the value of the continuing income of a living, productive forest that is home to bears, snakes and research fellows.

Please be smart, folks. Seriously.
