Been playing novice hockey at SLICE for a few years now. I'm grateful for the friendly community and helpful coaching I get at this rink!

As the fourth biggest city in America, Houston cannot lose this Ice Rink.

My kids learned to skate here. It is a wonderful place for families and would be such a shame to lose this great facility.

Please save the rink. It has 2 sheets of ice which is needed for hockey, free skating, etc.

The words "integral part of the community" and "second home" cannot be understated. It would be a blow not only to SL but the greater Houston area, from a hockey and community perspective. In that regard I would like the City of SL to: 1)reclassify the rink as a community center, 2) contact the utility about a reduced or subsidized utility rate, 3) cocntact other foundations, organizations or charities that can contribute.
This is simply too important to be a business decision only that is out of the control of the community and people benefitting from the rink.

I have been going to the Sugar Land ice rink for over 15 years now, and play in one of their hockey leagues. I also frequent the local businesses before and after my games. If the rink closes the impact to Sugar Land will be more than just the rink closing. The impact will also be felt by the surrounding businesses who will get fewer people stopping by their businesses. Please do everything possible to help the rink stay open. Thank you for your consideration.

My son is learning skating for 2 years there. He loves it. It will be a big loss for sugar land if closing this rink!

The Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center is a valuable asset to the community of Sugar Land and the surroundings.
