The rink is a key piece in the Greater Houston infrastructure supporting skating sports. Loss of two ice sheets will be disastrous.

This is a huge asset for the kids of greater Houston. Ice sports enrich the Sugar Land community. They are a big part of its history and should be a bigger part of its future.

Houston needs its ice rinks.
It is essential for figure skating and hockey as well just the simple pleasure of skating. It is an excellent healthy activity. Tara Lipinsky won a gold medal and gave the City a lot of free publicity. One day we might get an NHL hockey player as well.

Save the rink! My kid are figure skaters and I cannot tell you how much the rink has helped my daughters learn about discipline and teamwork. Both are individual skates and synchronized skaters. The rink not opening up again would be a terrible event for this community.

Yes! Please keep the rink open! It opens great opportunities for ice hockey in the south! My son, Alex has enjoyed playing for several years now. Please don't close it down.
