The rink really is a wonderful part of our community. Not only does help many children and young adults. It is also helping many children with special needs through Stars.

Ice rinks are very useful and important. I completely understand coming from Canada where we easily have many. Poor Texas doesn't need to loose any

We have been part of the SLICE and hockey community for the last five years and it has been a constant source of friendship, exercise, discipline, learning and FUN for my two boys. It is not only for kids that are part of the hockey or figure skating programs but is enjoyed by many of their friends from school that get together for public skating at the rink. It is a great pleasure to watch your kids do something they love that has such a great physical and social benefit for them and I don't want my boys along with so many others in our community to lose this opportunity. Please, SAVE THE RINK!!

As a Canadian looking to raise a hockey player, there are already far to few hockey ricks in Houston and greater area. If anything they should be building more rinks!
