Our entire family uses this rink and it is a second home to us. We drive from Katy and are there 4-5 times a week for activities for all our kids ranging from 2 to 8 and adult league programs as well. It is a great asset to the SugarLand community and when we are in town we frequent other SugarLand businesses as a result. Please help save the rink!

Please keep the rink open. We're about to move back to the Houston area and I'm looking forward to playing hockey at SLICE again and getting our daughter involved with the skating programs which are available there. It would be a major loss to the community if the center were not available.

This facility plays a huge role in youth hockey development, disabled programs, community outreach and adult league programs. I've had my kids at this rink and also coached at this rink. This rink anchors the hockey community of Southwest Houston. Losing this rink will displace hundreds of youth hockey kids alone, form U8, U12, U15 to U18 and beyond.

I've been coming to this rink ever since I was a tiny little five your old. In this rink, I feel a certain comfort and safety that no other place has. This rink is a place for people to connect and communicate with each other, and most of all, have fun. This place is where many kids come to get all of their energy out, and get some outdoor activity. People constantly encourage kids to play outside, but, if this rink closes down, many young children will be losing the time that they enjoy and exercise in. Please save our beloved rink!!!!

The Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center provides a place for families to come together and enjoy a wide variety of activities for all ages. Surely the City of Sugar Land will find a way to keep the facility open. When we visit Sugar Land the rink is always one of the venues in Sugar Land that we visit. Our grandson plays hockey there and our son coaches and still plays himself. This is the kind of facility that many communities would love to have.

I spend 3 nights a week playing hockey at this facility. SLICE provides many, including myself, an excellent place to stay fit and also provides a great family environment for those of all ages. In this day where family environments and opportunities to stay fit are at a premium I would encourage the City of Sugarland to consider what they might be able to do to preserve this asset.
