It is a fantastic place always busy both with staff and volunteers. My kids learned to skate here and still to this day use the benchmark of a place as good or bad ....does it have an ice rink. Keep Sugar Land in the Good Category!

It would be really sad to now have the rink in Sugar Land. Many Hockey Players and Figure Skating are in this area.
We live in SugarLand and would like to see the Rink to stay open to help many people. Weida Shurtleff and Bob Shurtleff

People use this rink and love it. You can't take it down. For some people it's like a second home.

I spent my entire high school and college days at this rink! I skated many hours on that ice and it was home away from home! Please keep the rink open so other kids have the chance to enjoy it like I did!

I want to get back into ice skating, and cannot do that if this place is gone. I would love to teach my children how to skate someday as well. Please, keep it open!

Hello My name is Natasha Kuchiki. I am the 1992 Olympian team USA pairs skating and 1991 US National Pairs Champion.
Sugar Land Ice Rink is a fundemental environment for all ages, from youth to adults to Special Education.
It promotes health and physical activity with the platform through Figure Skating and Hockey.
With closure of this staple rink in this city would not only devestate the community, it would be taking away a sport for everyone and therapy for Special Education.
I hope a solution can take place to ensure Sugar Land Ice and Sports can continue to be a place for all new and old they call a second home.

Spend one Saturday at Sugar Land Ice & Sport Center, and you will realize how big Hockey & Figure Skating are in the area.

Our family has watched and participated in several seasons of youth and varsity hockey with many games at this facility. Would love to see this facility remain to support such a great sport!
