Please save our rink. This is where our family spends a lot of time with 2 boys playing hockey. Its a shame to let a healthy activity go because the rink closes. Others are to far away.

This would impact every member of my family as we all use hockey as a family meeting point. This sport will also help to keep my kiddos out of trouble as they age and more negative influences become available to them. This rink and this sport have helped me family so much with structure and an example of a healthy alternative for socializing and provides a strong sense of belonging that we do not all get anywhere else.
If these rinks close down, hockey may not be affordable to us, and we may lose this wonderful sport in our family; especially since we have already lost our home rink Stacy City Ice Station, where many of us including the kids "grew up".

SLICE has been such an integral part of this community and surrounding areas. It is the only rink with two sheets in Houston and surrounding areas. Please save the rink from closing its doors.

The SLICE was one of the cornerstones of my childhood. It was the first place where I truly learned the joy of sports and where I boosted my confidence as a young child. This place has been the home to countless amounts of events and is a reliable place to go for recreation in the Sugar Land Area. It CANNOT go away because it means too much to the community and to myself, and I sign this petition to stop this from shutting down. The SLICE will not be shut down if the Sugar Land people can help it!

This is a GREAT venue and needs to remain! The staff is terrific- we have had events, weekends, etc. with our kids and grandkids...

Loosing SLICE will be a huge blow to the Houston Metro skating community. They are the largest learn to skate program in the area. And they developed The Skate Therepy Program that helps children with all sorts of disabities. Come all you Canadian transplants, please join us and save these rinks for the kids. We can do this!
