Been playing hockey here for the past 5 years. I now actually get to play with my son on the same adult team. It's a huge part of our week together. This place builds relationships! We need it.

The ice rink is good for the area. Sugar Land is vibrant and having an ice rink is an attraction.

Please do everything you can in your power to save the rink and to keep the operation going. The rink supports the well being of every age and all genders. It is a center point for the community and promotes the best traits from individuals.

Not only does the rink provide for the immediate area but several people travel to Houston to skate. While skating there is a income to the city from a tax perspective, it is also an income in other venues, not part of the rink. People shop and eat while there and stay in hotels. SLICE is always busy and I understand the cost of keeping that much water in TX frozen is a costly task. A plan to keep it operating would be a very good thing.

Houston needs this rink. A city of this size anywhere else in the country has 10-100 times the number of ice rinks this city has. It offer children, youth, and adults alike exposure to new and challenging experiences that they otherwise wouldn't get.

We need this to stay! Our community needs places for teens to go do activities...perfect clean wholesome date nights, staying out of trouble!

My family has had birthday parties, lessons, and a ton of memories made here. The community needs a place like SLICE to keep kids active and out of trouble. Why take it away? For shopping? We have enough of that.
Mt brother in law is fighting cancer and the thought of getting back out to play hockey has been helping him battle the mental side of the disease. Don't take that away from him. Please.
