C’MON CITY OF SUGAR LAND - SAVE THE SUGAR LAND ICE AND SPORTS CENTER!!!

I was a figure skater there for 10 years. I grew up at that ice rink, some of my favorite memories growing up are from here. It can't close down.

Was planning on enrolling my daughter for Summer programs here

Please save the Sugar Land Ice Rink! If the rink were to close, it would adversely affect so many people: the coaches and staff employed, the athletes that train and play there with such a passion, and the families/children that have spent countless hours on their goals and dreams of learning to skate. The City of Sugar Land, and the surrounding area, are so very blessed to have a facility like Sugar Land Ice. As a child, growing up in South Texas where NO ICE exists, it seems a dream come true that we even have an ice rink. That is why losing such a valuable asset would be devastating to our community. It would be a shame for it to just slip through our fingers without a fight. How I wish I could have learned to ice skate as a child! -is that where the dream stops?

Sugar Land needs to keep this rink open and available. Ice skating is an excellent form of exercise and I moved my family down here from Dallas Stars territory. I would love to see hockey remain and take root as it has in other areas of Texas.

Please save this rink I've already lost my other one!

Shame to have 2 large ice surfaces going away. I don't live in sugarland but drive from the city to play once a week.....once in awhile I stay and spend some money locally due to its location to shopping/restaurants/bars. Without the rink I have no reason to go to sugarland.

This is an important business that will be missed greatly by the hockey community, the figure skating community, and especially the Skate Therapy community. Please keep our rink open.

i wouldnt be playing hockey again if this rink was not here when i came to sugar land in december 2014.

The ice center stood out to me when I first moved to sugar land in 2005. If anything, more efforts should be made to promote local events that take place there.

I am aware how expensive it is to keep the ice rink going but it is so important to so many...in the ice skating and hockey comminity
