Losing this ice rink would be a crushing blow to the entire Houston hockey and figure skating community. As a youth hockey coach and adult league player, I know the other area rinks could not fully absorb the displaced skaters from SLICE. Please save this crucial facility!

I support to keep and to make sure Sugar Land Ice & sports complex stays operational at any cost. This is a place for young kids to learn, grow and become a place for learning experience. For many of us it is will be etched in our memories for life time because this is the place we all became friends and take care of each other. This is not just about ice hockey but it's lots more about family and friends!

Please save this rink... Public donations or make it a public fixture.. Use some casino money... Anything to give kids another safe, healthy , community activity. Children with special needs have few options and this is one of the most amazing programs!

I don't go here, but I know it is an essential hangout spot for the youth of Sugar Land and others in Fort Bend county. It would be a major loss if this rink were to close down.

To have one of the very few arenas in a very large metropolitan area even thinking about closing their venue is an abomination. I have watched four and five year olds train at Sugar Land in hopes of fulfilling their life long dreams. If this closing is not stopped they may be here tomorrow but their dreams may not. Please do not close the only venue in this region for whatever your reasons are.

I'm a Michigan native and being able to take my kids to see hockey and learn to skate in their hometown is amazing. They love the Imperials, it would be devastating to see them leave after losing the Aeros too!
