Having the rink go down will definetly hurt the community, as well has have potential movers from the north be more interested in areas with ice rinks.

Please City of Sugarland, purchase this ice rink. Our kids have put in years of practice and dedication to their ice sports and it would be a shame to lose the two sheets of ice which are badly needed. First the AEROS were forced out and now if we lose this, hockey in Houston will surely be forgotten.

Keeping this rink open is critical to the skating community. It is home to countless figures skaters, several ice hockey leagues for both youth and adults, and the other 3 sheets of ice in Houston will not be able to absorb it all. Closing the Sugar Land Ice facility is simply not an option.
