The rink is a place where many families come together to see their children figure skate and skate hockey. These types of places keep our youth participating in activities that gets them off their xboxes and off the streets. In other words, it helps develop productive citizens that know how to work with a team.

We play with another hockey team in the area, but have games here several times a month during hockey season. We frequently stop and shop or eat in the area after the game.

SLICE serves many communities in the area. Many come several times a week from as far as Galveston. Please don't take away our sports.

The center is so important to so many. It has put SugarLand on the national front for many reasons, for it's accomplishments in figure skating and now for Skate Therapy

Please don't allow this to happen. Closing of this rink will be a huge blow to ice sports not only in Sugarland but the entire Houston metropolitan area.
