A friend moved away from the ocean to be in your community, and his kid is obsessed with hockey... you will crush his dreams if you shut this down.

how can we help? I have donated to the fund me account. Houston can afford $75K, but we can't afford to lose these ice surfaces.

This rink is so important to kids all over the greater metorpolitan area. You have kids from Champions, Spring, and The Woodlands coming all the way down there to skate and play hocky. Granted, it's in a high rent district that probably grew up around it, but we need this facility. Actually, I wish The Woodlands had made the decision to make their new facility large enough for figure skating and hockey, but they didn't. Losing this facility would make their decision even worse.

Sugar Land ice is a great facility, the youth programs are remarkable. These children need this place and it would be a shame to see it go.

Its a great rink it would be a huge shame to take it down as there are not many rinks and the ones that are are very far from many people so it would have a huge impact on the skating community
