During my time in Houston the sugar land rink was a sanctuary for my family and I. Moving to Texas in my junior year of HS this arena was a place that provided a young Canadian a sense of normalcy and safety. SLICE kept me out of trouble and gave me an outlet that was needed. With such a shortage of rinks in the city loosing these would be a true tragedy for hockey players in Houston, in Texas and the Southern states.

My son loves hockey and has played for 6 years , just moved here from ILL and it would be a huge plow for this to happen here. Hockey is not only a great sport but also keeps kids active, makes them think more healthier and less likely to get in trouble . Don't take away a sport that so many love to play please

Please keep this rink open. This facility has a positive impact on the community, it keeps kids engaged in physical healthy activity as well as adults like me that continue to enjoy the benefits of skating.

This place means a lot its an attraction to Sugar Land. I remember when I was in high school my friends and I use to hang out here lol so much fun.

Our family has been skating at SLICE (hockey players, lessons, open skates, stick & puck, birthdays) for over 16 years. I really hope you find some way to keep the rinks open; it's letting down so many by closing doors.

Ice skating, whether it is figure skating or hockey, is a passion for any one who participates. Losing two rinks after losing Space City would devastate the skating community. Please be creative and find a way to keep SLICE open.

Lived in Houston for only 4 months, but went to this rink at least once a week. Hate to see the rink in danger.
