This we need for are youth and community. Maybe, one of our Banks can step up with the money needed for the repairs and change the rink name to the Banks name?

had i known whether or not it was open to the public rather than just sports teams or trainees I'd frequent it. I've lived here several years and have not been once :(

I'm from Pennsylvania and I visit twice a year. I always take in a game at Sugarland Ice during my time visiting, and it is on par with most rinks up North. To lose it would be a shame. Save Sugarland Ice!

It would be a shame to shutdown this rink. The Houston Greater area has only three sheets of ice to service over six million residents. I've enjoyed playing at Sugarland ice, it's the only rink in town with two sheets of ice. The location and amenities are very attractive for events.

Please save the rink! With 4 kids there is no way I can haul just 1 around town to keep skating. She's invested the last 2 years in skating after trying everything else. This is the only thing that has stuck. Such a shame to pull the rug out from under so many kids.

Shutting the door on 500+ kids is unacceptable. There are plenty of ways this facility can be brought back to profitability.

Please do not close the skating rink. It is much more convenient for us compared to the other skating rinks around town.

The Sugar Land rink is an important venue for families, for athletics and for competitive skating. I hope that the City of Sugar Land works hard on behalf of the many families and community members who love and utilize the rink.
