I have walked to the local Windsor Grove parcel office for over 30 years now and have always found the staff there very friendly and helpful - and would find it extremely difficult to have to travel to Annerley to collect parcels as it is so far away from WEST NORWOOD... so a waste of time and resources and it would cause environmental pollution to have to drive to Annerley. PLEASE please do NOT close the parcel office.

I worked at West Norwood post office for 23 years,as a post woman & a PHG & the volume of work that passes through this office & the amount of customers that collect their mail,parcels etc warrants this office to stay open on its own,let alone the fact that the office works very professionally & operates fully to the best of its ability!! Moving the office would b a disaster for the staff & customers as I don't believe the staff would be as happy & operate as well,we have seen this happen all over London where Royal Mail have c

This is an appalling proposal which will inconvenience hundreds of people. I frequently pick up letters etc at the Windsor Grove Office which I can reach on foot from my home in Lancaster Ave. The new office will involve taking almost half day away from work & will be highly inconvenient.

Penge is completely impractical even for healthy folk with transport, and unachievable for elderly or infirm with mobility issues. we cannot be expected to travel miles to collect a parcel! My experience of the West Norwood location is that it seems sufficiently busy to warrant remaining open.

I must say that the idea of having to go to a place where there is no direct route from West Norwood seems like madness. Having to get a bus at all just to get a parcel is not at all good. Have you worked out how many extra journeys will have to be made of this comes about? At the moment, it is fantastic to have the sorting office so near. I would like to understand the justification for this move.

Closing this office would be a massive inconvenience for thousands of local people, not to mention staff involved. It would mean an hour's round trip to collect a package

You can not do this and close the Royal Mail Sorting Office in West Norwood, as Im working all day i need this local collection point to remain open, will be to difficult to get 3 miles journey to collect parcels,

Please don't close this facility - it would be extremely difficult and time-consuming to make the 3 mile journey to collect parcels. Suppliers rarely give enough notice about when parcels will be delivered so we rely on Royal Mail to keep the parcels safe until we are able to collect them.

the proposed move would be a disaster for tulse hill and west norwood residents and businesses alike - there are a good many elderly, infirm and disabled people in the area would not be able to make (or afford) the journey to the proposed new site should they need to visit - and deliveries (which are already under some considerable strain) would be adversely affected - this seems to be nothing more or less than a cost cutting exercise which will have an extremely negative impact on those who are receiving deliveries from royal mail

As a local resident and tax payer, I believe that the delivery office provides the local community a very valuable service. Any change which requires residents to travel 3miles to the next delivery office would not be a good or efficient service.
