Closure of West Norwood Delivery Office SE27

You cant close this sorting office its insane to do so!

Keep the local Sorting Office open the elderly & infirmed need this local service.

I would hate for this office to move locations! It's so convenient for me where is located.

Objection from an over 80 with no car who has satisfactorily collected post from Windsor Grove for many years and objects to going by 2 buses and having to allocate half a day to collect from Anerely (Penge). Is this the cost of privatisation?

Save local services at all costs

A good postal service remains fundamental to strong community cohesion. Moving the Royal Mail sorting office out of West Norwood would be highly detrimental to this.

I probably use West Norwood Delivery Office about once a fortnight. I don't have a car so it will take me a long time to walk to and from Penge from West Norwood, so I will have to buy fewer things online. By closing sorting offices, Royal Mail is making its consumer offer ever less appealing and handing a gift to alternative parcel couriers. Idiots and vandals!

I don't drive and this will be disappointing and difficult for local people to collect their parcels. A backward step if it happens.

Moving the sorting office would be terrible for the area, especially for the elderly and those who have to rely on public transport. Plus for those on the commute every day - it's virtually impossible to get to the sorting office except on a saturday morning when it will be over crowded.

Please don't close this office.

This sorting office is efficient and a much needed local collection point within walking distance for West Norwood residents. Anerley is further away and harder to get to without depending on car or public transport

I often collect items from the Norwood sorting office. Collecting from Penge is nigh on impossible. I despair.

Please think of the local residents and keep this service LOCAL!!

This office provides a valuable community service. Loosing it would cause considerable inconvenience to local residents.

Please don't move our local sorting office to Anerley, which could certainly not be described as 'local' .
