Closure of West Norwood Delivery Office SE27

Closing the West Norwood mail delivery office would make it considerably inconvenient to li most working-age residents in employment to obtain their parcels during working hours. Anerley is just not a viable logistical option.

It's quite handy to have this within walking distance (10 min walk from my flat). Not sure a 3 mile shift in location would be good for the community here!?

I live in west norwood - and i'll be really annoyed to have to jump on a bus to pick up some letters 3 miles away!

I oppose the closure of Royal MAIL sorting office in Windsor st at West Norwood. Plans to move it's business to Anerly would leave West Norwood locals without a closing distance /well connected office If unfortunately the closure gets the green light, a better locations for residents will be West dulwich at alleyns Rd.

This is a valuable Public Service that should not be lost, possibly through yet another decision by inexperienced and uncaring management

Anerly is way too far and difficult to get to to pick up post I'm not able to take delivery off when at work during the day. Please keep WN open, the area is in the up and the Windsor Grove office is vital for a vibrant community!

Anerley is too far away for most people to go. Many people in West Norwood don't have a car and elderly people will be particularly affected by this. Please keep the sorting office open.

Thanks for highlighting this. Local collection offices are very important. For people who work there are only a few hours on Saturday when collections can be picked up: moving it further away will write off a whole Saturday morning and discourage anyone from using Royal Mail.

This is how it starts then one by one they will all go. The plan would mean some have so far to travel. Sorting offices should be local not mikes away.

We need our sorting office - how do the elderly or those who are unable to get to Anerley access this invaluable service. Time is precious to us all so how inconvenient will this be for the majority of us who work! We need our own sorting office.

The West Norwood Sorting Office is the local Sorting Office for people and businesses living and working in around West Norwood. I think that moving the office to Penge is too far and that most people will have to make a real effort to be in when they know that they are expecting a parcel for fear of missing it and having to travel to Penge.

Please keep the sorting office. Getting to Anerley when you have mobility problems and don't drive is impossible!
