Please keep our LOCAL sorting office open. With the suggestion of closing the sorting office and making our nearest one non local a distance to travel to including for those who find it difficult physically or even financially. Its not viable for most residents who rely on it. We already have variable post times now. Which means theres always a high percentage of deliveries not being received in person. We need a local place to collect our parcels. Please keep it open

A move to Anerley would have a huge impact on the West Norwood community. From a personal perspective as someone who works full time and has family commitments only being able to collect post on a Saturday morning from an office so far away would be very difficult never mind the environmental implications on having to make an additional and unnecessary car journey. I object to closure completely but if essential would merging with the West Dulwich office not be more sensible. At a time when west Norwood is trying to improve its infrastructure and facilities this seems to be a backward step.

As a resident of Windsor Close, a stone's throw from the sorting office, I very much object to the proposal to move the sorting office to Anerley not least because as a non-car driver it would be very difficult for me to get there especially since the opening hours would most likely not fit in with my working patterns.

This sortin office is always busy and a move to Anerley is too far for many SE27 residents. If a closure is going ahead, then a merging with the West Dulwich Sorting Office would be far more sensible.

Unacceptable! This is one of the most valuable services left around here. Practical. Convenient. Great customer service. And at a walking distance with perfect opening hours. To force the whole area to go to Anerley is simply unacceptable and at the end of the day. Who are they kidding? It is only that finally the recent months we are getting a great delivery service on normal post. Newest addition to your postmen and postsomen employees have been excellent. Instead of continuing the upward trend of positive developments they will close this depot down? I am dead set against it. Find another way to make your precious cuts, you are a service and bear a duty to the local community. Thanks!

Anerley is too far away for not only the elderly residents of West Norwood, but those with disabilities. It would be a grave injustice to those people and a huge inconvenience.
