Please don't close. This will mean wasted journey times and far greater use of cars so increase in traffic = increased air pollution - totally unnecessary.

This is an important sorting office To the neighbourhood of West norwood.

This is an essential local service, for both busy people and local businesses, collection office is always busy when I visit. Anerley is nowhere near West Norwood. Keep West Norwood open.

This a local amenity and should remain. You could also provide a couple of parking bays for people collecting post as it is very difficult to park safely.

going to Annerly to pick up any letter or parcels would be extremely inconvenient as the bus service up there is not very frequent, and there is absolutely no other reason to go there.

I live in West Norwood and moving the Royal Mail sorting office will be extremely inconvenient, it provides a valuable local service and should not be moved to Anerley.

I and the other local Labour councillors for Gipsy Hill are extremely concerned about the potential closure of the sorting office. The closure would be really damaging for the local community. As others have said, it will be at best inconvenient for some people to get to Anerley and at worst impossible for others. It will also mean more car unnecessary car journeys which will bad for the environment. We're also concerned about the impact on the local economy and any potential job losses. We fully support the campaign and we'll be writing to and seeking meetings with Royal Mail.

Closure of the sorting office in Blenheim Grove and its move to Anerley would impact badly on local residents especially those with mobility problems or who are work during opening hours. If closure is necessary then amalgamation with the facility in Alleyn Park, West Dulwich would be a much better option - or is that too up for closure. A much more valuable site than Blenheim Grove especially as not protected by planning policy. Blenheim Grove is in KIBA where Lambeth would refuse permission for non industrial and similar employment type development.
