With the increase in deliveries from internet purchasing there needs to be more local delivery offices not less.

Please don't shut the sorting office. The suggestion to move it 3 miles away is ludicrous. To be able to walk to my sorting office when I have missed a Royal Mail delivery is convenient and environmentally friendly. If it moved, I would either need to take a bus or car.

Anerley would be a great inconvenience and I would look to use another delivery service other than the Royal Mail should it move from West Norwood

I use this local office all the time as in these days of online shopping many of my purchases are delivered by post and I may not be at home when they arrive. If this service was moved to Anerley it would make it extremely difficult to collect parcels and would take considerably more time. I am also concerned that whilst it would be inconvenient for me it would also make it impossible for elderly, disabled or those with small children to collect their parcels especially if they had to use public transport. At present the sorting office is within walking distance but if it moves then many of these groups will in effect be discriminated against in terms of collecting their parcels or post because it will make it extremely difficult for them to access the post office service which I assumed was based on wanting to deliver a service that was easily accessible to everyone.

Without a car and with small children in tow, the prospect of taking public transport to a sorting office 3 miles away to collect my post does not appeal at all. Please keep this important local service as it stands!

This is an invaluable service which is local and necessary, especially for hose without their own transport. It most definitely should not be moved!

Although I don't live in West Norwood the proposed closure is a step in the wrong direction for Royal Mail services. Local sorting offices are an important service.

The staff at this sorting office are always saying how busy they are whenever I have to go in there and there's always a queue on Saturdays.
SE20 is not easily accessible from West Norwood by private or public transport. SE19 is ridiculous to have to go to. If they're so desperate to close it, make parcels collectable from West Norwood post office.

It's ridiculous to close the sorting office what about the elderly or people without car's why not close the Westow hill office which is smaller and in the middle of the 2 and share their post between anerley and West norwood office.

I pick up parcels from the West Norwood office often and would find it nigh on impossible (in terms of both time and transport) to get to Anerley. Please, please do not close the West Norwood office.

As somebody that has lived in and around West Norwood all of their lives, I can't believe they want to close it. I'm a mum of two and I also work full time job with rather demanding hours - being about to pick up my parcels at 8am on my way to taking my daughter to breakfast club before going on to work is ideal for me and it would be a huge inconvenience for me! also the staff in west Norwood are all so lovely and polite, they can't close it!

I use the SE27 sorting office on a regular basis as I do a lot of online ordering from Amazon. It's very convenient for me as I'm sure it is for other West Norwood customers, especially those without cars.
