I have lived in W Norwood for over 20 years and would be very sad to see our community loose our local delivery office - craziness to close it

I can’t imagine what a person with limited ability will do in these circumstances.looks like redevelopment is the curse that destroys communities and brings new life but not in the way we know it.

West Norwood is a great little independent town, I work 12 hrs a day, and depend on going to the sorting office to collect my parcels, I am able to walk here , if it moves I will have to catch a bus to collect parcels. Not a good move.

Although I think that west norwood office needs to improve their service, I do hope the office will stay in the west norwood area to make it easier for local residents to collect their parcels.

Thanks for this info. I do not have a car and do not want to collect from Anerley, with possibly a future large heavy parcel. I strongly object to this mooted closure of the West Norwood postal depot.

It’s so convenient having it there as I live round the corner. When they couldn’t find our property the sorting office added it to the system so then we could receive our packages. The staff are friendly and always most helpful.

I really value having a local sorting office that will deliver or keep my parcels safe( I get quite a few amazon parcels) and it would show faith in our struggling area if RoalMail carried on employing their marvellous and ever patient postmen and women locally. Please save our SDO!!

This is urgent now. We MUST try and stop this closure. It's not just unfair on us, the the staff at the sorting office. Where is the consideration for LOCAL people? I can't fault the posties or staff at the office so KEEP THEM and the Sorting Office for us locals. I could travel to the Anerley one, but what about people who can't? So unfair.
