I don t have a kid in the kindergarten but my friend does and I always visit the club to spend time with them. It s a really nice and safe space and natural unlike all the new closed playground for kids. Don't close it this city needs it

I love this place and it was the best what happened to my three kids, really it helped them a lot in all aspects .

Closing down the Swiss Club Kindergarten is a mistake. It has been promoting the Swiss Club for years. Whenever you say Swiss Club you promptly think the Kindergarten. The Kindergarten was and still is professionally run and managed by Frau Barbara; a lady that truly and sincerely cares about our children and their well being. Frau Barbara and her dedicated team are helping our children to develop in a nice yet professional way. Before she retires a well structured plan can easily be put in place to look for a replacement and her presence during those years is essential to helping her replacement acquire and develop the necessary skills to efficiently run the Kindergarten in the future. Closing down now is a let down to the Egyptian community for which I believe Switzerland and the Swiss embassy cares a lot. Providing non-profitable superior child education to the Egyptian public by hosting the Kindergarten is a much appreciated community service. Fighting together to stop the losses (if any) and not choosing the easy solution of shutting down should be the way forward. Increasing the fees to the limit that covers the running costs is an immediate solution in the short term nevertheless I am sure if we all put our heads together we can come up with more ideas to balance the books and keep the kindergarten as it always was a symbol of excellent child education. There are not that many good non-profitable child education institutions in Egypt. We should all work to add to that number not to decrease it.

The swiss club management should consider involving the parents and the swiss club community in whatever 'problems' they feel the nursery is facing. Surely a solution can be found bearing in mind both the children and the Club's best interests.

I would love to see the "in-depth analysis", based on which something that works so convincingly and passionately should be dismantled. I am sure, what emerges would immediately turn out to be recognizable as the product of superficial interests, but certainly not of an in-depth analysis.
