This man has done what no other person would do for these animals. He built a home on his own land. Please find it in your hearts to let these animals keep there home and maybe the council would donate some money or food etc to help these animals. Newport council go with your heart on this one not your heads or rules .

Hi its bout time councils leave people and animals alone and stop telling people wat to do and start doing there jobs and fixing roads etc instead poking there noses were not wanted

Surely there is room for flexibility when so much life is as stake. The gentleman wrongly did not seek permits before building - but the buildings are now there and a great many birds depend on the care and security this rescue brings. Please be humane, do the right thing because it is the right thing. Issue the permits and allow this man to continue the good works he has done out of a the good heart he most certainly has. Save the Rainbow bird sanctuary. Let the world see the Newport Council is able to see and do the right thing. The world is watching.

I beseech those who are concerned about building permits to have a heart and do everything in your power to waive the permits on these avaries or make an exception.....Please work with this couple so their good work can continue for these animals bwho depend on them and have no where else there.. to exist in peace.
