I'm doing this petition in hope to put Mrs Caroline Wheeler-Cooper out of business with her rip off horse yard. Many people pay vast money & hours of their time in hope that they themselves or their children will get good quality horse riding lessons from a fun loving yard. Unfortunately that isnt the case & a few home truths are going to made visible to customer's
They're are also extreme vasts amounts of health & safety issues!
Health & Safety have previously been out & told her but as soon as the coast was clear things went back to how they where!
PLEASE don't Endanger yourself or your children horses have their own minds & personalities anything could happen! Please sign my petition in hope to either close her down or give her the kick up the arse.
Photographic evidence & Videos have been made of the issues so she can run but she can't hide

I have been going through the messages from people sharing their own stories about their time at the yard. It confirms my worst fears that this is a pattern of neglect affecting so many families. I am currently organizing this evidence to ensure it reaches the right safety inspectors again.

Seeing this momentum grow proves that people are finally seeing through the excuses about the safety conditions at the yard. My main goal has always been to protect our children and horses from these avoidable risks. I am so grateful that so many of you refuse to accept this dangerous behavior any longer.

This yard is terrible. The owner is awful. I took my daughter there for a lead rope class were I was greeted by children booking my daughter in and giving her the hiring of a extremely loose hat to then be told that a large girl with big blonde curls was teaching she couldn't of been older than 16 clearly unqualified and distracted by her friends making a racket in the corner of mess. There were 9 children in the class so for the expense it was for 45minutes it's outrageous! When a comment was made the 'instructor' made a comment about if I wasn't happy to book a more expensive private lesson! Terrible customer service run by kids!
I was on placement here for college with my friend, we only lasted around 2 hours there then we just left with out saying anything. The owners are horrible and speak to you like crap and be little you. And the horses were kept on pathetic little beds. All there bones sticking with only one hay net a day for 16hh horses!!!!. In some cases there was 2 horses to a tiny stable as they have to many horses to care for !!!!Worst of all the horses were badly Lame and that was very clear when they were trotting them up and down but they said they were fine to ride. Disgusting. This place is horrible and would recommend it to no one that place needs to be closed down and the horses taken away.
I have witnessed first hand that the horses aren't "bombproof" as they are bought cheap to bring on and sold for a higher cost than they are worth and are described untruthfully in ads! I remember going down and they asked me to ride a horse that no one would get on and I could see why, it's was to novice and needed ally of one to one bonding and being taught but they didn't have enough time so they sold it on.. The way the farm is run is terrible with unqualified staff. This yard needs inspection and a clear out for new qualified staff!
This place is nothing but a glorified dealers yard, they're playing a very clever but dangerous game. The horses never stick around because they buy them cheap, put them in lessons for a few months then sell them on at triple the price. Effectively their customers are paying to train downsides horses!! Add this to the unqualified staff and H+S breaches, it's about time this place was investigated.
I used to volunteer here a while back. The benefit of the long days hard work would be half an hour free ride on the ponies who hadn't worked. At first I would be told to do one job then rushed into doing another by being shouted at. However that is not the worst of it, I gained a scar as I was tending to a customer helping her with her horse, he had launched forward and bitten me. This made a clear cut through the skin which would easily get infected..... Nothing was done about it, no help was given nor medical attention to clean my wound. There was no health and safety contract for volunteers... simply show up. I also had witnessed the poor diets and treatment of the horses, in which finally made me leave the place.
Appalling place. I don't know how it's still running tbh. So many people have complained about all sorts of things. Wouldn't recommend anyone to keep their horses here and definitely not have any riding lessons. Who would want to be taught by UNQUALIFIED people who I wouldn't even call 'instructors'. Terrible. If you want to run a business, atleast make sure you're running it properly and buck up your ideas.
Nasty? Some how I don't think that's the right term to use. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and so are you but this is what people think and you either have no idea about health and safety or horse welfare or sadly your mind has been poisoned and your one of her Army's of minions but thanks

I volunteered there, and left after a few months because of the Poor care of the horses, lack of professionalism, the children left to run the place while the adults go out. When I asked about signing any h & s or insurance contracts or even disclaimers, I was fobbed off.
