If Southern Methodist University refuses to close like most other college campuses, then the LEAST they could do is make life easier (and longer) for people like me who actually have to travel to campus on a daily basis.

Both the roads and sidewalks are incredibly unsafe to walk on.

I live on campus, but many of my friends have to drive a significant distance to make it to school. While I wish the picture was not a dead squirrel, I do want my friends to be safe without risking academic consequences.

I commute everyday to go to SMU, I live in Flower Mound and it usually takes me 45 minutes to get to school. I have tried driving on the roads near my house but it is still not safe. Please if you could have some consideration for those of us that would have to expose our lives to go to class. Thank you!

I'm from Houston and have never driven in anything but rain. Tomorrow morning I attempt the drive from Plano. Please reconsider having classes for the sake of commuters, faculty and students alike.

I have to commute from 30 minutes away and I do not feel comfortable having to drive in the weather. All the other schools have closed, and it is not reasonable to make SMU students risk the trip to school when they should be allowed to stay home and be safe.

I am a commuter student and I would really love not risking my life to just go to school and review for an exam.
