Climate Crew Meatless Monday
Cows and other animals (like goats and sheep) emit methane, a potent greenhouse gas, as they digest grasses and plants. Emissions from livestock account for about 14.5 percent of total greenhouse gas emissions, globally. Meatless Monday is a global movement that encourages people to reduce meat in their diet for their health and the health of the planet. Research shows that Monday's are the days that people are more open to making a positive change. Let's all make a small act of change by signing this petition and skipping out on meat for 1 day this week!
